Pick the stops, set the pace and choose your pickup time. A private day out of Edinburgh built around what you want to see, from one castle and a long lunch to Glencoe and back before dark.

Tell us the basics. There’s nothing to pay to get a route and price.
Treat these as starting points. Swap a stop, add a distillery, cut the walking or stretch it over two days.
Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Fort William and a Loch Ness viewpoint. The big Highland day.
Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument, Doune and a distillery on the way home.
Old Town closes, Dean Village and the Forth Bridges. Good for a half day or a cruise call.
Every quote includes your private vehicle and driver-guide, fuel, parking, road tolls, bottled water and phone charging. Entry tickets and meals are extra.
Even a date and a rough idea is enough. A real person reads every enquiry and replies within 24 hours with a suggested route and one price for the vehicle.

Our Edinburgh day tours are fixed routes we run often, with a set price. A custom tour starts blank: you choose the stops, the order, how long you linger and what time we set off. Everything else — private vehicle, driver-guide, door-to-door pickup — works the same way.
We quote per vehicle, not per person, so the price depends on the route and how long you are out rather than the size of your group. Send us your rough plan and you will have a written quote back within 24 hours. Our fixed day tour prices are a fair guide to what a comparable custom day costs.
Yes. Multi-day trips can run point-to-point across the Highlands, the islands and down into northern England, and we can arrange accommodation along the way. See our multi-day tours, or read about full trip planning on the bespoke tours page.
Up to four guests, plus luggage. Four is the maximum for every tour, and the price covers the whole vehicle whether one of you travels or four.
Two to four weeks is comfortable in summer and around festival time; a few days is often enough in the quieter months. If your dates are close, message us anyway — we will tell you honestly whether we can cover it.
Rain doesn’t stop a tour. Your driver-guide will reorder the stops to chase better light, swap an exposed viewpoint for somewhere sheltered, or add an indoor stop. If there is bad weather, an official weather warning or a road closure, the tour is postponed to another date. See our terms and conditions.
That is rather the point. If you want an extra hour somewhere, a stop you spotted from the road or an earlier finish, just say so. The only fixed points are the pickup time and, on cruise days, getting you back to the ship.
Yes. Most days start in Edinburgh, but we regularly collect from Glasgow, the airports, Rosyth and South Queensferry cruise terminals, and hotels elsewhere in central Scotland. Tell us where you are staying and we will confirm. Prefer to meet us in the city centre? We can also collect you from 3 Hill Street, New Town, Edinburgh EH2 3JP.
