This is the big one — the Highland day everyone pictures when they think of Scotland. The road north climbs onto Rannoch Moor, a vast empty wilderness, before dropping into Glencoe, the glen of weeping, whose brooding peaks have starred in Skyfall, Harry Potter and countless others.
Beyond lies the Great Glen and Loch Ness — so deep it holds more water than every lake in England and Wales combined, and dark enough to keep its legend alive. The ruins of Urquhart Castle stand guard over its most famous stretch.

Is the £680 per person or for the whole tour?
For the whole tour. One price for the vehicle, driver-guide and full twelve hours, whether one of you travels or all six. The Loch Ness cruise, castle entry and lunch are separate.
Twelve hours is a long day — is it comfortable?
It is a full day, but a private vehicle makes all the difference — comfortable seats, stops whenever you like, and the drive through Glencoe and the Great Glen is genuinely part of the experience rather than dead time.
Do we get a Loch Ness cruise?
We can build one in. A cruise on the loch, taking in Urquhart Castle from the water, is around £17 per person and booked as part of arranging your day. Prefer to see the castle from the shore instead? That’s fine too.
Where do you collect us from?
Anywhere in Edinburgh — hotel, apartment, cruise terminal or the airport. Given the early start, we’ll confirm the pickup time with you when you book.
Can we change the stops?
Yes. Add the Glenfinnan Viaduct, spend longer in Glencoe, or skip the cruise for more time at the castle — tell us beforehand or on the morning and the day reshapes around you.
Is it suitable for limited mobility or children?
Much of the day is enjoyed from the vehicle or a short walk from it, which suits limited mobility well. Children are welcome and we’ll fit child seats — just tell us ages when you book.
How do we pay, and can we cancel?
Nothing is due to enquire. Once the day is agreed we take a small deposit, with the balance on the day. Cancel up to 48 hours beforehand and the deposit is refunded in full.
