The Home of Golf and the Sea
Cross the Forth and you enter the Kingdom of Fife — a green peninsula of farmland and fishing harbours that kept its own identity for a thousand years. At its heart is St Andrews: the spiritual home of golf, Scotland’s oldest university, and a ruined cathedral that was once the largest church in the country.
Beyond the town, the East Neuk — the “east corner” — is a string of red-roofed fishing villages: Crail, Anstruther and Pittenweem, their harbours barely changed in centuries. Anstruther’s fish and chips have won national awards, and your guide knows the queue is worth it.

Is the £620 per person or for the whole tour?
For the whole tour. One price for the vehicle, driver-guide and full eight hours, whether one of you travels or all six. Attraction entry, lunch and any golf are separate.
Can we play golf, or see the Old Course?
You can always walk onto the famous Swilcan Bridge and see the Old Course — it sits right in the town and is free to view. Actually playing it requires a tee time booked well ahead; tell us early and we’ll help arrange a round on the Old Course or a nearby links.
Where do you collect us from?
Anywhere in Edinburgh — hotel, apartment, cruise terminal or the airport. Give us the address when you book and your guide will be waiting outside at the agreed time.
Do we go inside the cathedral and castle?
You can. The cathedral grounds are free to wander; the tower and the castle each carry a small admission, paid separately. Tell us and we’ll leave time for a proper look.
Can we change the stops?
Yes. Spend longer in St Andrews, add a walk on the West Sands, or work through more of the East Neuk villages — tell us beforehand or on the morning and the day reshapes around you.
Is it suitable for limited mobility or children?
Largely yes — St Andrews and the harbour villages are easy to enjoy at your own pace, with short drives between them. Tell us about any needs, child seats included, and we’ll plan around them.
How do we pay, and can we cancel?
Nothing is due to enquire. Once the day is agreed we take a small deposit, with the balance on the day. Cancel up to 48 hours beforehand and the deposit is refunded in full.
