Highland Tours, One Day or Three
The Highlands are a long way north — a day tour means early starts and real hours in the car. If you can spare a night, the multi-day trips cover the same ground without the rush.
A full day through the Highlands — dramatic landscapes, historic sites, world-famous scenery and well-known film locations, with time at Loch Ness. The longest of our day tours, and the one people remember.
The gateway to the Highlands — Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument, Doune and Loch Lomond, with a distillery stop on the way home. Shorter driving than the full Highland day.
The classic Highland loop with an overnight stay. Day one takes in Loch Lomond, Rannoch Moor, Glencoe and Fort William beneath Ben Nevis; day two Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle, then south through the Cairngorms and Pitlochry. Excludes accommodation — we can arrange it.
Glencoe on the way north, two nights in the Highlands and a full day on Skye — Eilean Donan, the Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing — then the Fairy Pools and Loch Ness homeward. Excludes accommodation — we can arrange it.
What You'll See in the Highlands
Glencoe & Rannoch Moor
The Three Sisters rising straight off the road, and the empty expanse of Rannoch Moor before them. The most photographed stretch of the A82 for good reason.
Loch Ness & Urquhart Castle
Twenty-three miles of dark, mile-deep water with the ruins of Urquhart Castle on the shore. Boat trips can be added if you want time on the loch itself.
Ben Nevis & Fort William
Britain's highest mountain and the town beneath it on the shore of Loch Linnhe — the natural overnight stop on any trip going further north or west.
